He is at present Professor-Emeritus at the Srusti Academy of Management, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and also a GuestTeacher at the Trident Academy of Creative Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Dr. Mohanty taught post-graduate psychology courses, major teaching interest being Experimental Psychology, Experimental Designs, Comparative and Physiological Psychology, Applied Psychology, Research Methodology and Statistics.
