Islam MD Rizwanul FattahDr Islam Md Rizwanul Fattah is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University of Technology Sydney, where he researches the effective use of waste for sustainable ue energy applications. His research interests stem from his PhD in the combustion of renewable fuels completed at the University of New South Wales in 2019 where he focused on reducing diesel combustion emissions (particularly PM/soot). Dr Islam Md Rizwanul Fattah was named one of the Top 2% of Scientists in the World in 2021 by Elsevier and Stanford University. He was also featured as one of the 'Research Rising Stars' (one of the top 5 researchers in Engineering and Computer Science in Australia within 10 years into their career) for his outstanding achievements in a September 2019 Special Report by The Australian. He is actively engaged in the field by publishing over 75 articles and gaining over 4500 citations of his works.
