Janelle RichardsonJanelle Pond Richardson is the great granddaughter of Lewis and Marguerite Rinn and the granddaughter of their oldest child, Lottie Rinn Pond. She earned a B.S. degree from Iowa State University and a M.A. degree from California State University LongBeach. She has studied her ancestors for more than 25 years, gathering their records and stories, learning about the times they lived, and writing about them. She received an award from the Southern California Genealogical Society Writing Contest for her story about Edmond Rinn, "I Went to France to Fight."
