Nicolas Michelin

Nicolas MichelinNicolas Michelin is an architect and urban planner who was born in Paris in 1955. He founded ANMA in 2000 with Michel Delplace and Cyril Trétout as partners, and runs the agency with them today. During the 1990s, Nicolas Michelin worked with Finn Geiel at their firm, LABFAC. From 1985 to 2000, he ran the Rueil-Malmaison contemporary art school and art centre. Between 2000 and 2009, he became the head of the Versailles National School of Architecture. It was during this period that he set up the Maréchalerie contemporary art centre, dedicated to the role of art in the urban environment. In November 2011, he was invited by the Ministry of Culture and Communication to chair the Entretiens du Patrimoine et de l'Architecture [Heritage and Architecture Interviews] on the theme of Heritage and Architecture in Sustainable Cities.
