Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,3, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Deutsche Literatur), Veranstaltung: Robert Walser, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit wird eine Parallele zwischen Robert Walser und seinem Gedicht "Puppe" gezogen. Die Puppe wird in dieser Auseinandersetzung als Metapher für Robert Walser, den Dichter, betrachtet. Da das lyrische Ich des Gedichtes eine Puppe ist, müssen die Figur und die Bedeutung dieses menschenähnlichen Geschöpfs eingerahmt werden, um dann die These zu unterstützen, dass Walser, der Dichter, Analogien mit der Puppe aufweist, beziehungsweise, dass die sprechende Puppe metaphorisch für den Dichter steht. Die sogenannte Beseelung der Puppen, also ihre imaginäre fiktive Lebendigkeit und ihre allegorische Bedeutung in der Literatur, sind ein zentraler Punkt dieser Arbeit, anhand dessen Walser und seine Puppe, charakterisiert werden sollen. Im Voraus soll zuerst die Figur von Robert Walser als sogenannter schreibender Schauspieler skizziert werden. Daraufhin werden zunächst dann drei Beispiele von Puppen in der Literatur dargestellt: "Kafkas Puppe" von Gerd Schneider, "Pinocchio" von Carlo Collodi und "Meine Puppe Mirabell" von Astrid Lindgren. Der Hauptteil der Arbeit wird aus der Argumentation der These bestehen, indem ein Vergleich zwischen Walser und der Puppe im Gedicht gezogen wird. Anhand von Rilkes Essay "Puppen. Über die Wachspuppen von Lotte Prietzel" und dem Aufsatz von Gundel Mattenklott "Heimlich-unheimliche Puppe: Ein Kapitel zur Beseelung der Dinge", soll die These unterstützt und ihre Metaphorik begründet werden. Es ist zu bedenken, dass diese Arbeit einen rein interpretatorischen Charakter besitzt und daher als weiterführender Gedanke betrachtet werden soll. Die Puppe wird als Metapher für den Dichter Walser verstanden, dies bedeutet jedoch nicht, dass Walser sich tatsächlich jemals als Puppe beschrieben hätte.
