About the Book

The Oulipo celebrated its fiftieth birthday in 2010, and as it enters its sixth decade, its members, fans and critics are all wondering: where can it go from here? In two long essays Scott Esposito and Lauren Elkin consider Oulipo's strengths, weaknesses, and impact on today's experimental literature.

Her novel Une Année à Venise was published in spring 2012. Veronica Esposito's criticism has appeared in many publications including The New York Times, Bookforum, and the Los Angeles Times. She is also the editor in chief for The Quarterly Conversation, an online periodical of book reviews and essays, and a Senior Editor with Two Lines Press.
