Inhaltsangabe: Zusammenfassung: Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit hat speziell für Busreiseveranstalter einen besonders hohen Stellenwert, da sie ein absolutes USP innerhalb der Erstellung einer Marketingkonzeption hervorgebracht hat. Mit diesem Alleinstellungsmerkmal wird es Unternehmen im Bereich der Busreiseveranstaltung ermöglicht eine neue Zielgruppe, die Familien mit Kindern, anzusprechen und damit einer anhaltenden Stagnation in der Busreisebranche entgegenzuwirken und neue Wege zu gehen. Da die Arbeit besonders an einer praktischen Problemlösung, unter Beachtung theoretischer Grundlagen, ausgerichtet war, beschäftigt sich ein Großteil der Diplomarbeit mit einer anwendbaren Marketingkonzeption in der Praxis. Besonders im Tourismus wird die Stagnation in der Busreisebranche immer deutlicher, trotz der Zunahme der sogenannten „Best-Ager-Group" in der Bevölkerung, welche die Hauptzielgruppe bei den Busreiseveranstaltern darstellt. Aber gerade bei diesen Älteren ist ein Verlust an Marktanteilen zu verzeichnen. Bislang konnte dieser Verlust zwar durch den Bevölkerungsanstieg bei den 60-Jährigen ausgeglichen werden, jedoch besteht immer größere Gefahr, dass das Desinteresse der 50 bis 60-Jährigen, wenn sie älter werden, bleibt und die Beliebtheit für eine Busreise immer rückläufiger wird. Somit muss die mittelständische Bustouristik ihre Chancen nutzen und mit neuen Ideen, innovativen Konzepten und ungewöhnlichen Visionen dem Wettbewerb begegnen. Vor diesem Hintergrund verfolgt genau die vorliegende Arbeit diese Herausforderung, eine Marketingkonzeption für einen lokalen Busreiseveranstalter zu erstellen, um eine neue Zielgruppe zu gewinnen, um am Markt weiterhin existieren zu können und gleichzeitig einen Wettbewerbsvorteil zu anderen Unternehmen am Markt aufzubauen. Das dabei einzubeziehende Unternehmen XYZ setzte an diese Arbeit zusätzlich die Anforderung, dass der Trend des Radfahrens in den Untersuchungen Berücksichtigung fand, da bisherige Marketingaktivitäte
