Giambattista and Domenico Tiepolo documents an important collection of master drawings donated by an individual to the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University, including five drawings by the celebrated Venetian genius Giambattista Tiepolo and sixteen drawings by his most famous son, Domenico Tiepolo. The late George Knox was Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia and an authority on Venetian art. His fundamental contributions to our knowledge of the drawings of Giambattista Tiepolo include his Catalogue of the Tiepolo Drawings in the Victoria and Albert Museum and Giambattista and Domenico Tiepolo: A Study and Catalogue Raisonné of the Chalk Drawings.
