About the Book

Have you ever been put on hold? Sometimes it is necessary in life for this to happen, even as a train has to pull into a sidetrack. There is no seeable reason for the train to do this, but if it doesn't, there will be some real destruction. There is another train coming toward it at full speed. And as the first train sets safely on the side track the oncoming train speeds by without damage to anyone. Our human ability many times cannot understand, or come up with a reason for a delay. Not only in the functions of life does this happen, but many times it does in our spiritual walk through life. We have heard many times, 'It is all in Gods timing, ' yet we want it in our timing and don't have patience to even give God a chance. We want it right now and having that attitude we will step out in front of God and really make a mess of things. So if you have been put on a sidetrack, keep your ears open for the moving of the mulberry trees, as God told David to do. Keep your eyes open and your ears alert the light will turn green, and that means go! WHEN Jesus came into my heart, my world Nov 2, 1953, God's plan began to unfurl. Little did I know about the future, except now, with Jesus I could face tomorrow with confidence? His joy and peace so over flowed my being that I just worshiped Him all the time. I made a vow to Him that I would take time every day to have a special time of fellowship with Him as long as he gave me breath. The Bible says that God's mercy is higher than the Heavens.
About the Author: Bruce Blair was born in 1926 on a farm in central South Dakota. Before His fourth birthday, the family had moved to western South Dakota to live on a farm. He was number five in a family of six, so in a way he learned to take care of his feelings, as we all have to do, in good times and in bad. He had a special love of God's creation (nature) very early in life, as they lived along a dry creek with a lot of trees and wildlife. With the family dog in tow, he spent many hours up and down this creek. They knew (him and the dog) every hollow tree that the rabbits would hide in, the trees that the great horned Owl, called his own. The hawks, crows, brown thrush, and robins. It seemed like they were all there, just to thrill this small boy each day. And as if that wasn't enough, this was a flyway for the migratory birds, so there seemed to be a new review every little bit. Especially in the spring of the year, it seemed like every tree had a bird, just singing their heart out. I suppose they were laying claim to that tree. He served in WWII in the NAVY. Most of his service time was spent in and near the Philippine Islands. He was married in 1947 to Donna Randall and to this union were added three children. The following year they became farmers, having leased his father's ranch. He later went into the pipeline business until he retired in 1986. He became a Pilot, a wood sculpture and a writer. He loved to hunt and fish. He always felt like there was something still missing in His life, even though he had such a wonderful childhood. In 1953, he found what it was that was missing. He had been reading the Bible and through testimonies of Christians, He had an experience as many other have had. Jesus Christ entered into his life, and now he felt complete. He fell in love with Jesus, the savior of mankind and from then on, his main desire was to share with others, what he had found in Him.
