About the Author: Alexei D. Voskressenski is Professor of Comparative Politics and Asian Studies and Dean of the School of Political Affairs, MGIMO University. He earned his PhD and Dr.Pol.Sc. at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies and holds PhD of the University of Manchester. He is founding editor-in-chief of the journal Comparative Politics and author of many books.
