About the Book
Scarlett, a newly minted Myrtle Beach lawyer, and Dray, on his first assignment as a real estate project manager, meet under quite unusual circumstances on the State House steps, where Scarlett's actions adamantly declare: this is NOT A LAUGHING MATTER! Thrust into a topsy turvy relationship from the moment they meet, Scarlett and Dray must decide to work together to solve sticky issues surrounding a land transaction that only God has the answers for! Upbeat banter stemming from the historic rivalry between the University of South Carolina and Clemson University provides safe ground for conversation as Scarlett and Dray navigate problems, turning them into opportunities to get to know one another better.
