When Maureen first began her ongoing relationship with the consciousness in Nature, she didn't comprehend the implication of what she was initiating. One day, after reading Co-creative Science by Machaelle Small Wright, she was inspired to walk into the desert and ask to be accepted as a student of Nature. She didn't know at the time if she had actually connected with Nature intelligence, or if anything would ever come of it. But from that moment, her life unfolded in amazing ways and she began a series of adventures introducing her to mysteries in organic gardening, earth energy healing, earth ley lines, energetic soil balancing, flower essences, crystals, crystal singing bowls, mysterious tiny spaceships and more. As a homeopath, Maureen had already been working with energetic medicine, but these new adventures made her previous involvement with homeopathy seem staid by comparison.
Maureen also began a series of journeys working with Nature to heal the earth beginning with the Mimzy Project at Mount Shasta, and continuing to Crater Lake, the Oregon Caves, the Oregon coast, the Sutter Buttes, California's dramatic Big Sur coastline and the famous Esalen Institute. She visited the Sacred Valley of Peru, learning a life-changing lesson at the Incan City of Machu Picchu and participating in a dramatic ceremony near Lake Titicaca which was attended by shamans from around the globe.

She provides insights into how Nature typically works with humans and what to expect, including that you can expect the unexpected. When I first tried to contact the intelligence in nature, I wasn't sure that I had communicated with anything at all. Was I deluded? Was anyone actually there? I knew that I had intentionally asked for connection, so I proceeded as if the connection was real, just to see where that would take me. Where it took me was into a life more profoundly meaningful than I could ever have imagined. It took me on a journey, not just with Nature intelligence, but also into the depths of my own soul.
