Many have asked the question, 'What is my purpose?' The Scripture plainly lets us know that we have been saved for a purpose. That purpose is to serve God. Ephesians 2:10 shows this clearly. It is not just enough to know your purpose but you must make sure your attitude is right. Isaiah tells us that if we are WILLING and obedient, we will eat the good of the land. Willingness speaks to your attitude. Your attitude is a vital aspect of your Christian life. It will determine your success or failure. It will make you or break you. Jesus gave us the example to follow. He said that he came not to be served, but to serve and give. This speaks to attitude. The attitude that we should have is one of a Servant. The servant does not gain his identity from his service, but from his relationship to the master. The key to greatness is seen by your service. If I am a servant of God then my function is not what defines me. In fact, knowing that I am His frees me to serve in any capacity that the Master determines he needs. About the Author: Dr. Michael Landsman has been in full time Ministry for 42 years and has served in various capacities during that time span, functioning as a Pastor; International Missions Director; Missionary; Traveling Teaching Ministry; Licensed Pastoral Counselor; Educator; Bible College Dean; Chaplain for the Los Angeles Police Department; Ministry Consultant; and Author. Further, Dr. Landsman was one of the original members of the International Churches and Ministers, as well as a founding trustee for Covenant Ministries International; and a Board Member of Fresh Oil Fellowship. Dr. Landsman had been part of the Oral Roberts Educational Fellowship for the Bible School Division at its inception and taught a segment on Bible School Curriculum at their first Symposium. Author of the National/World Outreach Bible School Curriculum, Dr. Landsman has overseen the establishment of schools in various countries with supporting material translated into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Polish, and Russian. In addition, Dr. Landsman has authored several books that have also been translated into various languages. The titles are: -Supportive Ministries (The Supernatural Development of the Ministry of Helps); -Attitude of a Servant -Lord, Increase our Faith -Doubling Your Ability through God -Mercy, the Gift Before and Beyond Faith" (co-authored with Buddy Harrison) Dr. Landsman has just returned from the South Africa after spending 11 Years teaching in Rhema Bible College. The last two years of his tenure, He was the Dean. He is also the South African Director of Daystar Christian Television. Founder and President of Michael Landsman Ministry Consulting, Dr. Landsman is working with Faith Fellowship, New Jersey, as the International Director for their Bible Schools (Faith International Training Schools) He has been married to Martha for the past 42 years. They have three children and three grandchildren. Two of their children are in full time ministries of their own.
