About the Author: John Wesley Rowe, Jr. The author for many years was a newspaperman and journalist who published newspapers in the Midwest, South and Northeast. While his investigative reporting sparked federal investigations and convictions, it is his sensitivity to God's involvement in community life that has given voice to many a Christian testimony being published in general circulation newspapers. While leading his newsroom to Indiana's Associate Press Managing Editors' sweepstake award for the best newspaper work in all categories and amongst all circulation sizes in Indiana's annual competiton, it was always the daily Bible verse published on page one that he believed had the most community impact.
