Jahrhunderts, Note: 1,0, Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (Philosophie), Veranstaltung: Grundrisse einer besseren Welt - Die Philosophie Ernst Blochs als offenes, utopisches System, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das "Stammhaus aller Utopiebücher" - so nennt Ernst Bloch in seiner "Tübinger Einleitung zur Philosophie" die Sozialutopien, die er im vierten Teil des "Prinzip(s) Hoffnung" im historischen Abriss darstellt - beherbergt das immer wiederkehrende Wunschbild menschenmöglichen Glücks: die beste Form des Zusammenlebens. Die Suche nach der idealen Gemeinschaftsform beginnt Bloch mit antiken Vor-Bildern bei Solon, Diogenes, Aristipp, gefolgt von der ersten ausgeführten Schrift vom besten Staat, der Politeia Platos. Über hellenistische Vorstellungen und den "internationalen Weltstaat" der Stoiker, frühchristlichen Bestrebungen und deren Weiterentwicklungen in Augustins "Civitas Dei" zum "Jenseits auf Erden", leitet Bloch zur frühmittelalterlichen Idee einer "societas amicorum" bei Joachim di Fiore ein. Dem kalabrischen Abt gelingt als erstem die Erwägung "historischer Zukunft", und er erkennt den repressiven Kern der sozialen Prinzipien des Christentums (das "Sich-Schicken in Furcht, duckmäuserischer Knechtschaft und Jenseits-Vertröstung"). Von nun an finden die Sozialutopien endlich auf die Füße. Der Modus ist nicht nur futurisch, auch indikativ,"anzeigend" Missstände an ausbeuterischen Institutionen ebenso wie Zweck und Ziel. Das joachitische Modell enthielte "utopisches Gewissen in seiner Utopie", so Bloch, den bewussten Fokus aufs letzte Wozu, mehr als so manche rationale Konstruktion der Neuzeit dies leisten könne. Vor dem Hintergrund der "Staatsromane", die sich als Vor-Schein dessen, was noch nicht ist, lesen, taucht mit Thomas Morus´ "De optima rei publica statu sive de nova insula Utopia" (1516) das Nirgendwo auf, nach dem sich alle sehnen: die Insel der sozialen Freiheit.
