A H Sharif SalimA.H. Sharif Salim is a retired high school principal who has coached and managed, at championship levels, in amateur and professional sports. He wrote his first novel, Dear Munir, while on an extended vacation in Morocco. Sharif has previously writte a childrens book and he has published in several education journals during his 42 years as an educator. After retiring from school administration, in 2012, Sharif plunged deep into the oceans of writing completing five screenplays and two fiction novels ,Tomboy and the sequel, Tomboy Revisited, within three years. The epic novel Tomboy, published in 2017, drew on Sharifs life experiences as an educator, coach, and world traveler. The book has received literary accolades from fellow authors and colleagues in the world of academia. Currently, Salim is an education consultant and a professor of philosophy and economics at two universities in the city of his birth, Washington, D.C. Married with five successful children.
