Abdul Gaffar Sheik

Dr. Abdul Gaffar Sheik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering, School of Engineering, FoSTA, Manipal University Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Dr. Gaffar completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Uiversity of British Columbia, Okanagan, Canada, and the Institute for Water & Wastewater Technology, Durban University of Technology, South Africa, and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from NIT Warangal. His research focuses on wastewater treatment process modelling, advanced control strategies, and AI applications in environmental systems. He has published over 32 international journal articles, contributed to four book chapters, and is currently involved in book projects with Elsevier and IWA. He is a member of the International Water Association (IWA) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and has received several recognitions for his work.
