Adriana Valerio is a historian and theologian. For over thirty years, since she became one of the first women in Italy to obtain a theology degree, she has devoted herself to the critical interpretation of the role of women within the history of Cristianity. She is the author of many essays on the subject and an internationally recognised scholar.
