Ahmad DebAHMAD DEB holds a PhD in archaeology and is currently Head of the Department of the Historical Buildings and Archaeological Documentation at the Directorate General of Antiquities of Syria. He directed the Syrian excavations of Tell Nahr El-Arab (Tel Al-Shamiyeh) between 2011 and 2018. He specializes in Bronze Age settlements and burials in the Near East.
