Ahmed KayadAhmed KAYAD is a researcher in DIGITAL AGRICULTURE LAB at the University of Padova, Italy. Recently, he received his PhD from the same university. He obtained a BSc and MSc in Agricultural Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt and King Saud Uiversity, Saudi Arabia respectively. He worked as a researcher at the precision agriculture lab, King Saud University between 2011 and 2018. In 2017, he started his PhD at the University of Padova, Italy aiming to monitor corn yield variability through remote sensing for precision agriculture applications. In 2020, he visited the International Center for Wheat and Maize Improvement (CIMMYT), Mexico for 5 months to investigate the possibility of using aerial hyperspectral images combined with PROSAIL to monitor corn LAI and yield.
