Ajalaa ClaussenAjalaa Claussen is a recent graduate from Aldo Leopold Charter School in Silver City, NM. As the daughter of Catalina Claussen, she was raised in the Mimbres Valley surrounded by an extended family of writers and photographers. This collection of phoographs showcases her artistic progression from the age of 10-18. The stories share bits and pieces of her childhood, as she literally grew up on these pages.Her work has been exhibited at the McCray Gallery on the Western New Mexico University campus, Javalina Coffeehouse, and the Bayard Public Library.
