Akram A. AlmohammediAkram A. Almohammedi earned his PhD in Wireless Communications and Networks Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Karabuk University, Tukey. He worked as a Senior Researcher at South Ural State University in Russia from 2020 to 2023. Akram has a strong academic background with extensive experience in teaching, research, and supervision at the international level. In 2018, he received the Best Paper Award in Malaysia from IEEE ComSoc/VTS for the paper, “An Adaptive Multi-Channel Assignment and Coordination Scheme for IEEE 802.11 P/1609.4 in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks,” published in IEEE Access. His research interests focus on wireless communication networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), and machine learning applications in smart cities. He has been a member of several international collaborative research projects and serves as a reviewer for numerous international journals and conferences.
