Al B BeardAl Beard is a professional photographer and writer living in Lexington, SC. Al received his degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1976. He founded Southern Sports, Inc. the same year, and has been photographing and writing ever snce. Al began his writing career while in High School, working for the local newspaper in his hometown of Martinsville, VA. He covered high school sports for four years as a writer and photojournalist before moving to Atlanta to attain a degree.
