Alan LeBoeufDr. Alan LeBoeuf was born in an industrial city in the north of England and is still proud to call himself a Salfordian. After 18 years he left home for the last time graduating at Sheffield University, Birmingham University and Trinity College, Dubln. Armed with a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology he moved to Bermuda for seven years as a practicing clinician before moving to his present location in Calgary, Alberta where he continued as a psychologist. Apart from his work as a psychologist, he became a correspondent on a local radio show for CBC and also submitted several papers to academic journals. Nine years later he entered the field of theatre taking the lead in a drama with a local community theatre group and then trapped by the acting bug he appeared in 30 plays over the next few years. He wrote his first play in 2012 and since then has written 19 plays, seven of which have been performed. It was 2019 when he bumped into the mythical character of Sidney Arbuckle and this has led to eight books about this character.He has now retired as a clinical psychologist but intends to continue to write until the last page.
