Alan MillardAlan Millard is a writer and amateur stand-up comic who also happens to be an anaesthetist. He has failed at many things in his life ‒ singing, sports and most notably dancing ‒ but all of his patients seem to wake up when they're supposed to. Born i London and raised in Queensland, Alan realised the rich world in which he lived and operated was ripe for storytelling whilst listening to the beeps of the machine, prompting him to write his first novel in the Andy George Thriller series ‒ Going Under. He lives on the Sunshine Coast with his wife, their children and a very old dog called Bingo. Read More Read Less
