Alan R TippettA native of Australia, Alan R. Tippett served for twenty years as a missionary in Fiji. He was Senior Professor of Antropology and Oceanic Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary from 1965-1977. The author of numerous articles and books, including Chuch Growth and the Word of God and Introduction to Missiology, Dr. Tippett died in Canberra in 1988. The legacy of his writings, in English and in Fijian, will live on for years to come.
