Alana ValentineALANA VALENTINE's Barbara and the Camp Dogs, co-written with Ursula Yovich, was nominated in the 2017 Sydney Theatre Awards for Best New Australian Work and Best Original Score. Ladies Day was nominated for the Nick Enright Prize for Drama (NSW Premir's Literary Awards, 2017). Valentine is the recipient of two Tasmanian Theatre Awards (2017) for The Tree Widows, and was also nominated for an Errol for Best Director. Valentine has worked with Bangarra Dance Theatre as dramaturg on Dark Emu, after successful collaborations on Bennelong, Patyegarang and ID. In 2017 Venus Theatre Company (USA) world premiered The Ravens, which also won the BBC International Radio writing Award in 2013, and the National Library of Australia published Dear Lindy. Other works include The Sugar House, Ear to the Edge of Time, Letters to Lindy, and a jazz song cycle Flight Memory.
