When she was a little girl, Alexa Brandenberg often attended the ballet with her family. Sitting high up in the balcony, she would dream of flying onto the stage and dancing a solo while everyone looked on. Today she still enjoys watching stories old through the graceful gestures of ballet dance.
Alexa Brandenberg is the authorillustrator of I Am Me! and Chop, Simmer, Season, both of which arc available at your local library. She lives in Sleepy Hollow, New York, with her husband and her daughter, Willa.
