Alexandre (Fils) DumasAlexandre Dumas pere was a French writer and dramatist, born on 24 July 1802. His father was a general in French army who fought in the French Revolution. Dumas father died in his early childhood so his mother brought him up in difficult conditions Inspiring stories of his father's heroic military life gave him spectacular vision for historical, adventurous and heroic writing.
