Pierce is a phenomenal global educator who started her journey graduating from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama. At AAMU, she received her Bachelors of Science in Early Chidhood and Elementary Education. Before graduating, she earned and was awarded a chance to become a corps member of Teach for America which allowed her teaching career to begin in Houston, Texas in one of the largest school districts in the United States, the Houston Independent School District. After three years of serving in Title 1 Schools in Houston, Pierce extended her positive impacts in education abroad. Pierce spent one year in Abu Dhabi/Dubai and two years in Wuhan, China spreading her joy of education. Alexis Pierce is a firm believer in transforming your dreams into a reality. She loves to empower all children to achieve their goals and reach success no matter their circumstances.
