Alireza BazarganDr. Alireza Bazargan, Ph.D., began his academic career with a BSc in Chemical Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, Iran. He was subsequently awarded the prestigious TOTAL Scholarship for MSc studies at Ecole des Mines de Nantes, France, inProject Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering. Dr. Bazargan continued his PhD studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a research attachment at the University of Cambridge, UK. Upon completing his PhD, Dr. Bazargan became a faculty member at the Environmental Engineering Group at the Department of Civil Engineering at K.N. Toosi University of Technology. He is the author of numerous scientific papers and book chapters, and has received multiple honors and awards, including the "Kazemi Ashtiani" prize from the National Elites Foundation in 2017. Since 2015, Dr. Bazargan has been the R&D Manager and Business Development Advisor at Iran's premier desalination firm, Noor Vijeh Company.
