Alistair McGuinnessStorytelling runs in my family. My Great Uncles were Seanachaís (Irish storytellers) and as a child, I always enjoyed listening to their animated tales about rural life in Donegal. I love to travel and have been to 47 countries to date. Unlike my Gret Uncles, I enjoy writing stories rather than telling them. During my travels I've been chased by lions, circled by sharks, and once hired a donkey called Angus, in northern Peru. After travelling the world, I moved from England to Western Australia and now live between the Indian Ocean and the forest, with my wife, children and our dog called Peppy.
