Alka LohaniAlka Lohani is Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida Campus, India. She obtained her master’s degree (Pharmacy) from Kumaun University and PhD (Pharmacy) from IFTM University, India. Her area of resarch expertise is dermatology, development of cosmetic formulations, transdermal drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, and polymer-based drug delivery systems and drug regulatory affairs. Dr. Alka has gained international recognition and prestigious grants, including the IBRO-International Travel Grant to attend Neuroscience schools in Nepal (2024) and Hyderabad (2022). Her research excellence was acknowledged at the IBRO Neuroscience School Nepal-2024, where she received the 'Best Dream Project' award for her outstanding project. With over 12 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Alka has made significant scholarly contributions. She has authored several research articles published with renowned international publishers. Dr. Alka has edited 3 books and published several book chapters with Elsevier, Nova publisher and Apple Academic Press. In addition, she holds three patent publications and one design patent.
