Allan Safarik
Poet and editor, Allan Safarik was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1948, and raised in North Burnaby. His works include: All Night Highway (1997), How I Know The Sky Is A River: Selected and New Shorter Poems 1978-1998 (199), and Bird Writer's Handbook (2003). He has been shortlisted twice for the Saskatchewan Book Award for Poetry, and he was a winner of the 2003 John V. Hicks Manuscript Award for Literary Non Fiction. Safarik lives in Dundurn, Saskatchew
