Alycia MorrisMy name is Alycia Morris (pronounced Alicia) I was born in Oklahoma City but raised in Waco Texas and Dallas Texas by my grandparents. I moved back to Oklahoma City during my teenage years and remained there until I graduated from high school. After raduation, I joined the United States Army and enjoyed traveling from South Carolina, Virginia, Alaska and Texas where I ended my military career. I attended the University Of Central Oklahoma where I majored in Sociology. After completing college in 2007 I began working at the Juvenile Detention Center in Oklahoma City. Here is where my writing began; working the overnight shift I had plenty of time to let my imagination pour out on paper. I saw Lost & Forgotten as just a short story; never imagining it could become a novel. In 2010 I moved back to Texas and began talking with my sister about the short story, she convinced me to make it a book. I moved back to Oklahoma City and began working on my novel in my free time. Raising three kids (14yr old son and 11yr old twins (boy/girl) and working as a Pre-K Teacher Assistant I put in the extra work whenever possible.
