Alysia MetalloAlysia was born and raised in Washington, DC, and is a pianist, singer, songwriter, and teacher. She is also a polyglot. (That means she speaks several languages!) She studied music at Catholic University of America and Howard University, and studiedworld languages at the University of Madrid, Spain. She continued her studies in teaching at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In her spare time, she enjoys songwriting, and working on projects with her older brother, Brian. She is excited to be able to present this book as her first in a series of children's books that are educational and entertaining.
