Amanda lives outside Seattle with her family, and has been crafting hildren's book stories in her head ever since becoming a mom to her sweet kiddo, Mila, and reading dozens and dozens of picture books. She is the debut author of Penguins Can't Have Pizza and has never had a slice of pizza she didn't like. She sure wishes penguins could indulge in its ooey-gooey cheesiness, sweet tomato-ness, and crispy crunchiness.

When she is not chasing her sweet kiddo around, she is attempting to make the world's best chocolate chip cookie (okay, maybe not the world's best, but still pretty good).
