Amelia CrespoAmelia Crespo was born in Puerto Rico in 2014 and raised in Texas, USA. She is an only child who fills her days with imagination and creativity. When she read a magazine about being an illustrator in first grade, she fell in love with drawing and creting stories-and hasn't stopped since. Amelia has filled her world with countless characters and adventures that bring smiles, laughter, and kindness to everyone around her. Bee the One was her first published book as an illustrator, which she created with author Colleen Kugler to help spread a message of kindness. The Life of a Small Rock is her first book as both author and illustrator. She first dreamed up this story in 4th grade, when she learned about weathering and erosion-her imagination brought the small rock's adventure to life. The book was created during a writing camp with her writing teacher Katharine Hsu from All the Write Colors. Amelia is neurodivergent and a proud bilateral cochlear implant recipient.
