After attaining her MBA from IIM-Bangalore, one of the top Asian management institutes, she worked with Colgate-Palmolive and Unilever as a marketing professional. She moved to Singapore in 2002 with her one-mont-old baby daughter, working as a consultant with a customer management consulting firm on projects with McDonald's and HP.
