Amitabh Kant

Amitabh Kant is widely regarded as a key architect of India's modern economic and brand identity. A distinguished civil servant who retired from the Indian Adminstrative Service (IAS), he was the longest tenured CEO of the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), the government's apex policy-planning agency, driving national AI and climate initiatives. As India's G20 Sherpa, he played a pivotal role in the landmark New Delhi Leaders' Declaration. A Chevening scholar with a master's from JNU, he is a prolific author. He is a senior adviser to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Fairfax and Warburg Pincus, and is on the boards of Larsen & Toubro, HCL Tech, ITC and IndiGo.
