Ana Garcia is Professor of International Relations at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro and associate of the Institute of Alternative Policies of the Southern Cone (PACS). She is co-editor of BRICS: An Anti-Capitalst Critique (Pluto, 2015) and Elite Transition: From Apartheid to Neoliberalism in South Africa (Pluto, 2014).
