Anastasia ConstantelouAnastasia Constantelou is Associate Professor of Innovation Management at the University of the Aegean, Department of Financial and Management Engineering. She holds a degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrin University of Athens, a Master's degree in Technology and Innovation Management and a PhD in Science Policy Research Studies, both from the University of Sussex. Before her academic appointment, Dr. Constantelou was a consultant at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) where she worked on communications policy issues in Europe. During her academic career, she was Visiting Scholar in several European Universities and Institutes including TU Delft, Department of Technology Policy and Management; Copenhagen Business School, Department of Information Management; and Aalto University, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Prof. Constantelou is Associate Editor of Electronic Markets (Springer Verlag). She has published widely in prestigious academic journals and has made numerous presentations at international conferences. Her current research interests include the management of scientific and technological knowledge and innovation at the regional level; public sector innovation; the design of support policies for innovation and entrepreneurship in the creative industries; and the development of dynamic capabilities in the public sector in the context of the Smart Specialisation Strategy.
