Andre ZelanisDr. André Zelanis is Assistant professor of Proteomics and Systems Biology, and Head of the Functional Proteomics Laboratory at the Department of Science and Technology, Federal University of São Paulo, São José dos Campos, Brazil. His research focuss in proteomics and mass spectrometry-based approaches to uncover protease function in biological signaling pathways. Currently his lab is using proteomics to explore the repertoire of substrates (degradome) of proteases secreted by melanoma cells in culture and evaluating proteolytic processing events in the plasma of patients with metastatic melanoma.
