He received his PhD and MS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and BS from Bauman Moscow Tehnical University (Russia). He was previously a nuclear reactor analyst in ROSATOM (Russia). In nuclear fuel cycle research, he worked on neutronics performance and fuel depletion analysis of various Molten Salt Reactors.
