Andrej PericAndrej Peric (formerly Pleterski) is an award-winning literary translator from English, French, and Slovak into Slovenian, and of Slovenian poetry into English and Slovak. He holds an M.A. in Translation Studies (Slovenian-English-French combination)and in addition to numerous poetry and prose translations in all of the leading Slovenian literary journals and on national radio, he has published (in Slovenia and the US) more than twenty book-format translations (British, Australian, French, Slovak, Maltese, Icelandic and Slovenian authors) and compiled five anthologies (poetry, prose, folk tales). In He has translated an anthology of Slovak short stories (2016) and co-translated an anthology of contemporary Maltese literature (2018), an anthology of contemporary Icelandic literature (2020) and an anthology of Estonian literature (2022).
