Andrew GordonAndrew M. Gordon, PhD., R.P.F. is a Professor Emeritus in the School of Environmental Sciences, University of Guelph, Canada, where he taught and researched in the broad areas of forest ecology and agroforestry systems for over 30 years. His esearch interests lie in the investigation of ecosystem-level processes in forests and agricultural systems that contain trees. Dr Gordon is the author and co-author of over 225 research publications in both refereed and non-refereed journals, book chapters, and technical communications. He conceptualized and edited, with Dr S. Newman, the first global book on Temperate Agroforestry Systems (CABI Pub.), now in its 3rd Edition. Dr Gordon has considerable international experience in agroforestry research, development and education in many countries, including Ghana, where he was the Director of a long-term CIDA project "Agroforestry practices to enhance resource-poor livelihoods in Ghana".
