Andrés Ramos
Dr. Andrés Ramos is currently a Full Professor at the ETS de Ingeniería ICAI in the Department of Industrial Organization and at the Institute for Technological Research, where he serves as Director, at Comillas Pontifical University, Spain. He wa previously Director of the MBA in Global Energy Industry (2015-20) at Comillas Pontifical University and Director of the Department of Industrial Organization (1999-2008). Prof. Ramos has also been Visiting Professor at Stanford University in California (USA), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and Aalborg University (Denmark). He serves as a reviewer for international journals and conferences, and as an evaluator for the National Agency for Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP). His areas of interest include the exploitation, planning, and economics of electric power systems, the application of operations research, and software development. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on the application of quantitative methods to improve decision-making and data analysis.
