Andy has spent over 20 years in the entertainment and media industry, which means he's seen it all-from backstage meltdowns to last-minute photo shoots involving moe glitter than should be legally allowed. A published photographer and science fiction author, he now splits his time between snapping perfect shots and crafting sprawling space operas full of alien politics, interplanetary drama, and characters who never do what they're told.

He's the creative force behind the Stars Turn Cold series, where the fate of the galaxy is usually resting in the hands of a misfit crew, a malfunctioning ship, or a weaponized secret. He blames his wild imagination on too many late-night sci-fi marathons and a childhood fascination with things that glow in the dark.

Andy lives in Toledo, Ohio with his brilliant and endlessly patient wife, Keri. They've raised four amazing kids and are now enjoying the chaos of being grandparents to three small humans who may or may not inherit Andy's love of laser swords. When he's not writing, Andy enjoys pacing around the house mid-scene, rearranging books he swears he'll read "next week," and consuming enough coffee to short out a droid.
