Andy Harris Andy Harris, MD, is a physician activist, who has practiced medicine in many low-income countries around the world. He founded and directed a global health course to train health professionals at Oregon Health & Science University. He is a past presient of Physicians for Social Responsibility, corecipient of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize, and is the co-founder of a homeless shelter and free medical clinic. He has a life-long interest in spirituality and social justice.
