Angel Martinez is a survivor whose life has been shaped by hardship, violence, and resilience across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. From early neglect and abuse to the dangers of gang violence and harmful relationships, she endured cirumstances that could have ended her story before it began. Instead, she found the courage to rise, reclaim her voice, and rebuild her life from the ashes of trauma.

Today, she stands in a safer, more grounded place, driven by a desire to help others who feel trapped in silence. Her journey is one of survival, spiritual strength, and the belief that no matter what life takes from you, your inner light can remain. No One Heard Me, but I Lived is her first memoir, an act of truth, courage, and hope for anyone struggling to believe they can overcome.
